Mewslade Bay is probably one of the prettiest bays on Gower. The short walk to the beach from the small village of Pitton leads down a wooded path and then through a valley which is owned by the National Trust. The path is not suitable for pushchairs and can get muddy in places during the winter. There is no beach at high tide, but it is very pleasant to watch the sea crashing against the rocks. The Bay is popular with surfers; at very low tide it is possible to walk around to Fall Bay.
Car park but it is some distance away (approx. 400m); very limited off road parking. No toilets or other facilities. Dogs are allowed.
